Nurse Practitioner Residency in Family Practice and Community Health Center, Inc.
Nurse Practitioner Residency in Family Practice and Community Health
Nurse Practitioner Residency in Family Practice and Community Health seeks to meet the overwhelming demand for full-spectrum primary care providers in Pierce County. In response to this demand and a strong desire to expand on its commitment to make quality health care accessible to all, Community Health Care has developed the nation’s first-of-its-kind inter-professional residency program. This is a unique approach to primary care residencies with multi-level primary care providers teaching, learning, and working alongside each other; providing comprehensive and compassionate health care to our community.
Community Health Care’s new Hilltop Regional Health Center; a 57,000 sf, 3-story primary care health center, will serve as home base to the residency program and has dedicated an entire floor to resident offices, exam rooms and education enrichment rooms. The Family & Community Health Residencies will further expand Community Health Care’s commitment to provide the highest quality health care to our community by providing the highest quality education to our primary care providers.
Starting Fall 2012, Community Health Care will host their first class of Family Nurse Practitioner Residents; the following year the Family Medical & Osteopathic Residents will join the them, then two years later the Dental Residents start.
