University of Missouri Critical Care Nurse Fellowship

University of Missouri Critical Care Nurse Fellowship is a unique program designed for nurses entering the challenging, fast-paced adult critical care specialty area. University of Missouri Hospital has four state-of-the-art adult intensive care units, including the Burn ICU, Cardiac ICU, Medicine and NeuroSurgical ICU, and the Trauma and Surgical ICU.

This program was designed to assist nurses that are new to the ICU in their journey into Critical Care Nursing. We believe that no new nurse should have to complete this journey alone. Caring and support are offered from a highly trained group of experienced preceptors, as well as from your peers. Everyone involved in this process wants to see you succeed and to assist you in that quest. Our fourteen week orientation and fellowship program are specially designed to fulfill your learning needs during this time.

What we are?

Nurse Residency Programs exists to support the growth and guidance of future Nurses.  We provide almost every Nurse Residency program available throughout the United States, as well as a multitude of scholarships, fellowships, job listings, and relevant articles.

Who runs it?

The site is run by nurses and is for nurses. It was created for my wife who could not find a web site that had all the different nurse residency programs in the country.

Why do a Nurse Residency program?

Nurse Residency Programs offers an opportunity for newly graduated registered nurses to bridge a gap  from student to practitioner.
